2026 Updates: Parks and Recreation

Reservations
- Speed limits is 15 mph in all parks!
- Reservoir Park Pavilion will be offline until further notice
- Wilson Park pavilion rentals = Pavilion and 2 grills
- 7th & Radnor pavilion rental= Pavilion and 2 grills
- Gorgas pavilion rental= Pavilion and 2 grills
- Program starts at 10am and ends at 3pm. Trip days will follow a different end time. Please review with your Site Leader.
- Reservoir Park will be open at all times but traffic patterns will be changing all summer. Roads could be closed or rerouted without any notice due to construction during the program.
- Reservoir Park drop-off/pickups: Please review the attached map.
- Reservoir Park Pavilion will be unavailable and not the drop off location.
- Wilson Park is fully renovated and ready for programming. Please utilize the park equipment and amenities. Please refrain from hanging on the railings at the park.
- 7th & Radnor| Gorgas and Reservoir Park require sign-ups for the weeks your child will be attending.
- 7th & Radnor | Gorgas parents please drop off your child at the 7th Street parking lot.
- Important Rental Information:
- Requests will be processed in the order received.
- Large rentals, walks, and runs require a $200 deposit or full payment within 10 days of approval.
- Payment must be made via check or money order to "Harrisburg City Treasury". Payment must be delivered to our office at 100 Concert Dr Harrisburg PA, 17103.
- The full balance must be paid within 10 days of your rental date or your event will be cancelled. Any deposits made will not be refunded.
- Walks and Runs:
- Reserve Riverfront Walkpath Connecting to City Island for Walks/Runs that start/end on City Island. The Carousel Pavilion and Walnut St Bridge Plaza will be added on the back end.
- Provide a map or details of your event via email to csegbert@harrisburgpa.gov after submitting your reservation request.
